Our course was designed by Tom Weiskopf with PGA TOUR player D.A. Weibring. The course was designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings and features native Texas landscapes. It's recognised for its environmental planning and preservation, including preserving an underlying 1800’s roadbed between McKinney and Frisco in the course.

2008 and 2012
TPC Craig Ranch hosted the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in 2008 and 2012.

2019
In 2019, Invited purchased TPC Craig Ranch with the vision of providing members an unparalleled experience through top-of-the-line facilities. Recognizing its potential as a premier golfing destination, Invited invested in the club to ensure it met the highest standards, aiming to create an environment worthy of hosting PGA Tour events.

2021
In 2021, Invited fulfilled their commitment to excellence by making TPC Craig Ranch the new host of the prestigious Byron Nelson tournament. This move marked a significant milestone, as the club now welcomes golf legends each year. The annual event has cemented TPC Craig Ranch's reputation as a premier golfing destination, where the dedication to providing top-tier amenities and an unforgettable experience is on full display.

2024
In 2024, Invited continues to build upon their commitment to members and guests by embarking on a three-year, multi-million dollar renovation project in collaboration with golf legend Lanny Wadkins. This ambitious endeavor aims to elevate TPC Craig Ranch to new heights, enhancing the course with state-of-the-art upgrades while maintaining the exceptional standards members have come to expect. Throughout the renovation process, Invited is dedicated to minimizing disruptions to member play, ensuring that the golfing experience remains seamless and enjoyable.

2025
The 2025 CJ CUP Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch marked a historic chapter for the Club and the tournament alike. In a commanding hometown performance, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler claimed victory with a 31-under-par total of 253, tying the PGA TOUR’s 72-hole scoring record and securing an eight-stroke win. That week, more than 181,000 fans filled the grounds, a record-setting attendance since the tournament’s move to Craig Ranch, cementing the event as one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR. Following the tournament, it was announced that the CJ CUP Byron Nelson will remain at TPC Craig Ranch through 2030, ensuring years of world-class golf and unforgettable moments still to come.

At TPC Craig Ranch, remarkable golf is just the beginning of an outstanding PGA TOUR experience. Since opening in 2004, the Tom Weiskopf-designed par-72, 7,438-yard course has earned widespread acclaim, including recognition as one of the 10 best golf courses in Texas by Golf Digest. It has served as the proud home of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson since 2021, with the tournament now extended at TPC Craig Ranch through 2030. The Club is also one of only two courses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, offering a superb test of golf surrounded by rolling hills and the natural beauty of Rowlett Creek. Beyond the championship course, TPC Craig Ranch features a state-of-the-art practice facility, expansive driving range, and a versatile clubhouse perfect for social and corporate events of any size.
